Classic Range Rover Brake Upgrades
All Range Rover Classics were fitted as standard with excellent brakes fit for purpose at the time of their manufacture. However, times change so it is wise to upgrade the brakes to at least that of the last incarnation of the model to enhance stopping power, safety and hence driving pleasure. This is particularly true of vehicles with upgraded performance. We can supply, and fit if necessary, a wide range of discs, callipers and lining materials for all models and customers should enquire with their specific requirements.
If your vehicle is not fitted with ventilated front disc brakes they can be upgraded to the later Land Rover spec. for extra power and heat dissipation.
For that extra stopping power we can supply and fit higher specification brake kit, comprising of grooved discs, performance brake pads and steel braided hoses.
The next step involves fitting larger diameter discs and special calipers, but here standard wheel diameter can be a limiting factor.
