Company Profile

JE Engineering has been in business for over thirty years. The Company was originally established as a performance engine specialist for road and track and soon achieved success in both arenas. The Company concentrated on the development of the ex GM Rover V8 engine destined to become an all-time classic power unit. JE Engineering developed the first ever 3.9 and 4.2 litre engines between 1980 and 1982. As a result of the Company's burgeoning reputation it was asked in 1985 to prepare the engines for the Land Rover official entry in the Paris-Dakar endurance rally, the most arduous challenge for man and machine in motor sport. The JE engines performed faultlessly. With the Company's increasing involvement with Land Rover, who purchased JE Engineering's 4.2 litre engine technology in 1988, it was a logical development for JE to specialise exclusively in Land Rover products. Now in purpose-built new premises near Coventry Airport in the English West Midlands the Company has a state-of-the-art facility incorporating the latest technology and including two dynamometer engine test cells. The Company has an enviable reputation for forward thinking and innovation, implemented by highly qualified staff at all levels. This is demonstrated by our certification for the highly sought-after ISO 9001:2000, the internationally recognised quality assurance award.

From the iconic Defender to the the latest Range Rover Sport our expertise illustrates that JE Engineering "Surpass Natural Limits."
