Auto Gear Box Conversion
Convert your TD5 or TD4 Puma ( even an SVX, see illustration below!) Defender to the electronic 4 speed automatic (an option not available from Land Rover). This unique JE conversion transforms the Defender, as our customers are happy to tell us:

You can also specify full manual control, where gears are held whether accelerating or decelerating.

Fitted and tested (with transfer box)-  £595.00 extra
Full manual select gear change-  £400.00 extra

Transfer Box
We insert a higher ratio gear set into the transfer box. The effect is reduced engine speed in the high range.

For example; (on manual) 3000rpm at 70mph is reduced to 2600rpm. This improves fuel economy and long journey drivability (also increases top speed on tuned models). The low ratio gears however remain the same.
