Stage 1a.  Giving around 185 bhp and 480Nm this great JE tune allows the already nippy Freelander 2 to really come alive!  Developed by Gary Oakley at JE Deutschland and further refined by Gary and our Franc Buxton on the mountain roads and autobahnen around Munich and beyond, this is THE Freelander 2 tune.  While 0 – 62mph acceleration is reduced by nearly 2 seconds (in spite of the torque-limiting software in the lower gears) the real advantages are seen in the mid-range acceleration times and sheer pulling power, even when towing.

"Old TD4" Stage 1 only :  A typical well-rounded JE tune giving significant power and torque increases where the driver needs them!  300Nm and 145 bhp knock nearly 3 seconds off the 0-60 time but, more importantly, give effortless cruising and easier (i.e. safer) overtaking.

"L- Series"  Stage 1 only:  Hardly a road-burner (!) but the JE Stage 1 tune at least endows the old 'L-Series' with adequate performance.  260Nm and 125bhp............wow!!
