Range Rover P38a Chassis / Suspension ImprovementsThe suspension modifications offered by JE are the result of an intensive R&D program to re-engineer the handling of the P38a Range Rover to enable it to safely cope with the awesome power of the JE 5 litre supercharged "S-Cars" They are not a conglomeration of bolt-on bits! The handling and stability of these 140mph+ cars was a total revelation, not least to Land Rover Ltd (!), at the time and remains the standard by which all others are judged. Whether you drive a DSE diesel or a JE 5 litre Supercharged your motoring pleasure and safety will be dramatically enhanced with a JE modified suspension. However, it has to be said that the poor old P38a is getting a bit long in the tooth and betrays its Rover parentage in its build-quality and corrosion resistance, in spite of the subsequent best efforts of BMW. Nonetheless, JE still has the expertise developed on the S-Cars if you think it's worth spending the money. Range-Rover P38a Suspension Enhancements 1 Uprated Anti Roll bar Package. Front and rear stiffness is carefully balanced to give considerable improvement while maintaining cornering neutrality. 3 Watts Linkage Axle Stabilising Package. This modification very effectively reduces the sideways 'sway' and 'yaw steer' of the body through undulations, caused by articulation of the standard Panhard Rod axle location.
