Maintained and improved regardless of expense, this car is no blinged-up WAG-mobile but a sporting carriage for the discerning motorist as award-winning motoring journalist Richard Aucock noted in ‘4x4 and MPV Driver’ magazine when testing this actual vehicle:
How does it drive? Exhausts and wheels apart, the JE Engineering Range Rover appears discreet and standard- looking. The exhausts made it wooflier, which was nice, while the wheels proved that massive diameters needn’t destroy ride quality if your air suspension is as able as Land Rover’s. But otherwise? Stock. Then I joined a dual carriageway, squeezed the throttle nonchalantly to get up to speed and glanced at the speedo. Whoops. So that’s where the other traffic had gone... More miles, and the revelation dawned that this conversion isn’t one which shouts that it’s there. Rather, it invisibly makes the TDV8 a significantly faster machine in normal use. You don’t need high revs or commitment to make it go fast. All the gains are there in the everyday working range. Every throttle input is supported with quantifiable extra vim. If you go for it, the pace is eye-opening - most startling when accelerating from junctions. Here, you can feel how crucial the tvres’ extra bite is, how vital (and hard-worked) the four-wheel drive system is, as the stately Range Rover powers relentlessly on. It’s like the Queen hoicking up her stately robes and blitzing the Olympic 100 metres.
This is no ordinary Range Rover so is fairly priced accordingly at:
£44,950.000
